ClayBuds,

Many years ago (and here I am woefully dating myself), there was a TV game
show called, "Name That Tune." Contestants would bid for the right to guess
the name of a song based on the least number of notes played they felt they
could make the guess, coupled with some clues from the host.

HOST: This song was the first to be recorded in a basement studio by an
American immigrant, using a tin can microphone and a spaghetti collander.

CONTESTANT 1: I can name that tune in 10 notes, Bob.

CONTESTANT 2: I can name that tune in eight notes.

CONTESTANT 1: Four notes, Bob.

CONTESTANT 2: Name that tune, Fred.

The station would play four notes of the song and the contestant would make
his guess.

This thread of commentary reminds me of that game show:

POST 1: I can make that pot in 15 minutes, mel.

POST 2: I can make that pot, with glazing, in 10 minutes.

POST 3: I can make that pot, with all trimming, with glazing, AND sell it
in less than 8 minutes, mel.

POST 4: Make that pot, Dude!

Man, this is fun!

Ya'll have a wonderful day! I envy anyone today who has the terrible job of
facing a brand new barrel of just-pugged and aged clay. Imagine, a whole
barrel of pots, waiting to happen! Make those pots, Dudes and Dudettes!

Best to all,

Tig

One minute? Sh----eet . . Man that ain nothin . . .. heck when I get done
with a teapot I got to set my clocks back by at least an hour - , late
somewhere, go make a dozen teapots, throw 'em, trim em, - owe too much tax
this year? throw a thousand teapots, and pay last years tax instead!

I'm not too sure, but this just might be an event for the first annual
Potter's Olympics.

Might be wise to engage in some "brain storming" for rules, ie: how ready
can the clay be... pre-dug? pre-pugged? recycled? bag open?

What a competition it will be....heheheh (to coin a phrase)
