with the likes of my friends Karen Terpstra, Doug Gray, Dannon, JimBob,
and others, like what Annie is doing in cinci, what
the new clay center in tampa-st. pete (railroad station) has going...
...i feel that many, new, dedicated clay teachers, are
going to make us all proud.*

the list is long, but, it represents a new wave of clay teachers.
skill and technology mixed with art theory. giving students full
expediences.

again, i am thankful how clayart is reaching out to teachers
of all levels. it can do nothing but help.

the days of throwing out the bag of clay...check the chicks,
tell em to `see what the clay will tell you...but, i don't have any time
for you`, then leave, is all done we hope.
that is not what great education is about.

the student comes with excitement and wonder...totally confused
often. it is up to the teacher to build and create that student into
a lover of clay...a person that respects the great history of clay
technology, and people that love working, as artist and crafts person,
with this wonderful material.

pass it on.
pass it on.
that is how it has always been done.

* the list is very long...i site some examples...many of
you can add to this list of great new teachers....rather
than harp on bad things...build on good things. one thing
that will always be a part of clayart is the `positive review`.
