Hi Gordana,
Your friend is wrong and you are right. All the programs I use need the LOI
entered with the analysis - if the program is of any use at all it will
calculate the loss.
If you get any analysis with out any LOI you must ask again to have it
included. Most of the materials we use loose at least a little on firing -
except for the frits of course. Some loose a lot.
Any calculating program which does not take LOI into account is usless.
