I am so impressed with Karen Terpstra's many lifestyles .... or maybe =
that IS her lifestyle ... to manage so many. As with most claybuds, =
Karen has a story that someday she must tell .... lots of stories, as a =
matter of fact. AND she deals with each one in her own inimitable way. =
She's gorgeous inside and out, a dynamo
when it comes to getting the job done,
and slaphappy when it pleases her to be.
She is one of several claybuds who inspire me every time I talk with =
her. I'm putting Clayart on alert.... watch Karen! She has what it =
takes, and more, to contribute magnificently to the field of ceramic =
art. To whomever introduced us... was it Mel? Ruth? ..... to =
whomever.... thank you.
If this sounds too icky, too bad. I marvel daily at the incredible folk =
I've met through this list ... at times, I need to point out how =
fortunate we are. As do numerous others, Karen lurked for a long time =
... and look what was waiting to unfold. You guys are such a treat!

In the Mojave thinking, in light of Karen's kiln building post, that if =
circumstances prevent my building a kiln ..... I CAN build that Pond In =
THe Desert I've long wanted.... but do I want to resist even for a few =
hours the lure of all that clay waiting
to be pulled&pushed, testing me and it to our limits? How DID I get to =
this place during my Retirement Solitude.... not .....? The influence =
of people such as each of you, that's how........ have I told you lately =
that I'm grateful to all of you?

Oh my Joyce, I... I.. I. don't know wh... wh ..wh.. at to say. (I
stutter a bit in real life when i'm embarrassed) And I'm totally
embarrassed!
Don't have much time to write but have to tell you ALL that Joyce is
right about one thing: I lurked on Clayart for a long time and finally
realized THE EDUCATION I WAS RECEIVING FROM COLLABRA WAS INDISPENSABLE!
(when I write in caps I am screaming and yelling)

That word is supposed to be CLAYART not "collabra"....that's what
spellcheck does to clayart... sorry.
Anyway. I just showed my husband Joyce's post. He said, "Has she ever
heard you "snort" when you laugh?....or seen you spit when you talk
fast?" Craig is the constant in my life. Like David Hendley and his
wife, Mel and Sharlene, and others on this list. I couldn't do it
without him. My life is blessed and so grateful for it.
