piggybacking propane tanks

I use a brass T on the first tank, one arm to regulator
and burner, the other back to the second tank. I used 1/4
inch copper pipe, flared, with brass fittings. The
fittings are brass, soft, so they compress when
tightened.
I can take a picture if that is not clear.

Well...my own prudence would be to put a Regulator on each Tank, and run
hi-pressure rated hose to whatever 'tee' or what as one wishes.

You ever get a rupture or something it'll be a little hiss or a smallish
flame and no big deal... fix it.

You get a hi-pressure 'leak' and it may have some more drama to it.

Even a hi-presure leak aside from the probable novelty and attending
natural-enough sense of drama it may evoke, is not reason for dismay. Just
turn the valve 'off'...if it is 'hot' from the presence of fire near it, use
a DRY towell or glove or pot-holder...at least that is what I have done,
that is what I would do...you do what you see fit!

You can throw some blankets or carpets or towells on the damned thing too
and wet them and let 'er hiss then without that it be a flameing...no big
deal, no big boogey-men gonna bite yer ass.

'Calm'...is good.

Thinking, critically evaluating 'what' is actually going on is good.

Go through the steps...

Stay 'calm'...if something does take a dump, if you have thought about it in
advance and alalysed the probable eventualities OF a 'dump' or rupture or
fire or what KIND of, or what, you will likely do better than trying to take
the 'crash-course' right then and there.

I am a little shy about full pressures being allowed anywhere but IN the
Tank.

That's my feeling on this.

With obviously some digressions...
