The 'new-valve' or fitting has a traingular shape to the valve-knob or
handle...also has outside threads as well as indside threads on the =
'end' or
the stub, to which one connects either a hose or a Regulator.
Many intermediate valve types having the 'outside' as well as the =
'inside'
thread are out there, and they will have to be replaced, even though the
date of mfg on the (relatively 'New') Tanks thay are on may have plenty =
of time left on
it.The 'new'`or 'newer' Tank is in compliance, but the 'valve' is not.
Only the 'new' so called 'traingular' handle types will be filled.
I am going to see if I can fool them by putting a 'new' triangular =
handle on
an old valve...and just kind of 'wink' and yawn a lot...then put the =
'old' handle back on when I get home...OR figure out how to 'fill' my =
own Tanks FROM a single ugly-valve 'compliant' NEW type...or I'll just =
get a 'Big Boy' and have 'er outside where they come fill it, and siphen =
off as I may need, to fill my 'little' Tanks...get THAT filled...and =
tghe hell with these ugly little 'valves' and all the deciet and greed =
they are steeped in.
I will at least raise a bitch based on the wording of the Statute
if I can get a copy...may as well have some fun with it.
AND if it is the wretched lackies of the ol' "dot" that are the =
complicitors in this, to help their palm greasin' buddies in the =
'propane-valve' Lobby make a killing...HOW does their jurisdiction apply =
if I carry the 'tank' to and from the 'filling' station?
I do not know...but it will apply! You can bet on that...those bastards =
have it all sewn up...
Sigh...
Another one bites the dust...
I have several tanks that I did not get filled in time, as my Car is =
laid up just now,
and I have been buisy with other matters...sheesh...what a waste!
Yuck!
