Tony -
I think you hit the nail on the head in these two. Currently, more and more
universities are stressing career training rather than life enrichment, and
the above is the result. Too bad.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, Vince. Here is an actual quote from a
mother I called to let her know that her son was being suspended for being a
"management problem": "What is it with you teachers? Every school he goes
to, he gets kicked out!"

Here's the problem:

2 many kids in a classroom
2 little adequate resources for students and teachers
2 many parents working 2 much
2 little time with their children for love, discipline, life training
2 little interest from parents from fatigue, lack of interest, 2 wrapped up
in their own issues
2 much attachment to temporal, material things, and not enough to loved
ones, building good relationships
2 little willingness to live a simpler life with less money.
