Hello,
I've red in Nils Lou's book that he uses a simple 1/2" pipe "burner" to =
reduce for copper reds when the kiln cools to a specific temperature =
(around 1300-1400 degrees if I remember correctly).
Has anyone tried this? Do you have to do this reduction with the flue =
closed? How do you know that all the oxygen's used up and you are not =
filling up the kiln with unburned fuel?
How much copper should I add to a base glaze to get copper reds?
Thanks,
Lajos
