Has anyone tried this mouth powered glaze sprayer that is at this link:

Scroll down to the bottom pic.

I wonder if it actually works or are glaze particles too big to get any
effect. Can a can of air be rigged to power this?

I have used a similar device that worked well and gave quite a
headrush....hehe. I think Axner's carries it. It consisted of a tin like
metal screw-on top with a tube/mouthpiece and a metal tube that went into
the container. That screwed on to a plastic bottle/container. Really easy to
use and did spray larger particle glaze without much trouble.
Thank you,
Chris Jones

I think I have one of these, but I'm not sure. The one I have looks kind of
like those bendable straw, but I can't figure out where the glaze comes out
of the bottle. Can you please elaborate.

We sell one in our catalogue that we import from Taiwan,
It is not the same as the one you linked to and is more expensive, but
it is easier to clean! I have 3 in my workshop and I wouldn't be without
them.

Imzadi,
When I went to Japan last year I offered to bring anything back for
fellow potters. There is one thing I found to be real pain to lug around:
FIVE of these puppies. Big too, and boy do they take up the space!

Anyway, I've used mine for spraying flashing slips and oxides for salt
and wood. I like the slowness of the sprayer opposed to the spray gun that
seems to go everywhere but where I actually want it to go. But, I only use
it for accents since the one and only large piece I did about put me face
down on the concrete.
The one in the picture does look tricky to clean. Try another type that
you can see into the cannister. Mine has a large hole in the top, not a
funnel, and when I'm done spraying I just run it under water.
