Hi JFH

I can't really give a technical answer but... I was at the
International Potters Festival in Aberystwyth (pronounced a bit like
Abba-Wrist-With, slight accent on the Wrist), Wales, in 1997, when Nina
had one of her tall sculptures being fired outside. Just found a
picture of it on their website:
http://www.internationalceramicsfestival.co.uk/pastevents/fest97.htm

I'll try to remember to rummage through the heaps at home, to see if the
booklet for that weekend gave any info and I'll let you know if I find
anything.

Also, some pictures from last year (which I missed, unfortunately,
dammit) on :
http://www.aber.ac.uk/ceramics/potfestival3.htm

I was also thinking, why not try to contact her direct? If she doesn't
show up on the web, then maybe you could contact the arts centre at
Aber... and ask if they could forward your query to her.

Hope this helps,

Jenny Lewis

Or contact Fred Olsen; he built the Aberystwyth Kiln using Nina's
techniques. That man is awesome!
