"ok; will do," and that's the end of that conversation, as I'm thinking =
about spending money when I'm not at all sure the chair of choice will =
do the job. Today, though, I'm thinking that I've spent tons on pottery =

Joyce,

Go to a store that specializes in computers/computer field. There should be
some computer desks, some office chairs, and it's almost guaranteed there
will be a few "ergonomic" chairs. These are short, backless, and hardly
take up any space at all, so the stores shouldn't have a problem about
carrying at least 2 models to choose from.

I can tell you one thing. My hubby has back trouble, and it doesn't matter
which of the models he sits on, he likes every single one. So we just
bought cheap0 and replace the upholstery now and then. As long as you get a
metal frame that supports your weight, you can use the thing until it rusts
away--which will be a LOOOOOOONG time with indoor use and barring any floods
(not likely in the Mojave, eh?).

Good Sitting With You!
