What is the basic construction for making a firing collar in order to fire
sinks without warping? I know Axner sells these but I would want to make
mine to a more custom size.

Linda Blossom makes a pinch pot at the same time as her sinks and after
she has attched the over flow drain and bowl, she sets the sink on it.
It is a wee bit bigger than the over flow bowl, I think.
She says she always does this and they work great.
