Hi,
I just unloaded my pots from a woodfiring workshop done by John Theis up =
here in Thurmont, MD. The firing was fantastic and John was truly wonder=
ful as a workshop leader & storyteller. I used Helios porcelain from Hig=
hwater Clay. Didn't do a thing to it, except for liner glazes (I used mo=
stly Shino) Got amazing ash accumulation and beautiful flashing-really y=
ummy surfaces! The kiln was VERY hot-cone 12 was flat as a pancake. Joh=
n knows how to make that kiln of his really sing!
