I know you have said this before, and I appreciate the repeat. There's
wonderful wisdom in your post saying, ">A rewarding life is filled with
variety. Anyone who burns out on an
>initially productive endeavor doesn't have enough variety in their life.

I am one who has demonstrated the ability to burn out on a career. I'll
testify there is slightly more to preventing that burnout -- the whole thing
is really complex -- than simply maintaining variety...but it's an awfully
good start.
