On display through June at the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts
There are pieces of Rookwood, Weller,and Newcomb.. Also at the Museum there
is a fireplace surround by Rookwood tiles..
The pieces in the show were created during the American art pottery movement
which lasted from 1876 until 1915.
The museum is located at 201 High St ,, Chattanooga Tenn
I am going to see if i can work it in today to see the show ,,,,i will
report
back with my critique.........maybe some of us clayarters can do a field
trip. :)
