I am using a beading/lichen glaze that I adore, but it has bad
manners. Spits all over the kiln shelf. Is there anything I can add
to the glaze to keep it from spitting, yet won't inhibit the beading?
I am using this over bare clay and underglazes only; not over another
glaze.
Also, if not handles extremely gingerly, it can chip off. Is there
some sort of fixative I can use, or some sort of additive, that will
keep it on the pot? I am in the process of testing various things
(CMC, bentonite) but am looking for more ideas.
thanks.
