Hi:

I have the pellet form of bone ash. Are you pellets really white in
color? That's what mine look like. This is English Bone Ash from Hamil
and Gillespie. A very good bone ash I might add.

Hello,

I recently saw a post on bone ash and it got me wondering about my own =
supply. I obtained approx. #20 of bone ash from a potter "going out of =
business" and it is in pellet form. It dissolves fairly well when mixed =
with water, and I have used it in a variety of glazes. I have never =
purchased Bone Ash from a supplier and wonder if anyone else gets bone =
ash in this form and if it is Tri or Di calcium phosphate. Thanks for =
any help or advice.
Thank you,=20

Thanks Craig!

Yes my pellets are very white. After reading the recent posts, I had to find
out exactly what I had. I have been doing some Copper Red glaze tests and
wanted to eliminate any unknown variables.
Thank you,

I don't know if it helps. One of the kaolins I buy, comes in pellets, I
believe to avoid dust.
