Can anyone suggest a decent book on production pottery? I am particularly
interested in info about making things stack (ie. bowls and plates) and
making dinner sets.

Holly, if you can get your hands on Bernard Leach's *A Potters' Book*
(the Old Testament Book 1!) he goes into making pots for firing in
stacks in enough depth to get you started. The rest is pure practice &
experience.
