clay is what color? Reduction ^6 what is the color?

^6 in oxidation it's a dark brown, slightly lighter than the cookie part of
an ice cream sandwich. I like it and used it as one of four unglazed
colored clays in a wet-cut mosaic ornamental paving piece in Anaheim. Have
never fired it in reduction.

in Oakland/Berkeley where all the earthquake talk reminds me we've had
suspiciously little tremor activity here for a while now, and April IS
statistically one of our earthquake months - hope I don't bring one on with
such thoughts
