Carolynn,

IMCO (Industrial Minerals Co.) has Ione Grain 35F. Their catalog says that
it is calcined kaolin used as a grog, but doesn't state the mesh. They
also list Ione kaolin, so I'm assuming that it's from the same source.
IMCO (916-383-2811, www.clayimco.com) is in Sacramento, CA and Ione is a
small town in the foothills nearby where clay is mined.

Yes, I am still searching for a really fine grog (100 mesh or finer) to add
to my stoneware clay body I mix myself. I heard about Ione (sp?) and wonder
if anyone knows who manufactures it - or where it can be found?
Thanks again,
