Kilnless ceramic dabbler needs ways to fire without pit, kiln, raku =
devices, etc.
________________________
Hi Michele,
I have fired holding the burner in hand
and my work sitting on soft brick
surrounded by four upright ones
and finally one on top.
I could aim the flame from four sides and=20
control the degree of melt to different sections of the piece.
Made some pretty nice stuff...
small figurative works.
A wire armiture
raku paper slipped cotton fibre draped and=20
dried with the torch for strength.
dipped in very course raku paper slip=20
or a coat painted on.
The glaze then applied with brush
and fired right away,
reduction induced.
Total process two hours...
