Dear Craig: Congrats on being on the cover of the potters Rolling Stone.
Very nice pots, photos and thoughts. It was nice to read the layers of the
man and his pots.
Can't let your head swell up too much over this thing, so I've got one more
thing for you to think about- making your own cane handles.
If anyone ever gets the blues, I hope they are the ones that you have.
Congrats and good pots.
cheers,
Tony

Thanks Tony!
Actually, I have been thinking about different handles for the
teapots. They'll probably be clay but I'm certainly not opposed to looking
into making cane handles. I've always like to make stuff. When I was a
kid it was model cars and planes. I still have an old stash of the Cane
Craft handles from a quantity buy but I sell them when friends need handles
so maybe they'll be gone one of these days and I'll just have to get on the
handle design track.
I actually do make some teapots now with clay handles. Sold a nice one at
the potter's show in Portland this past weekend.
regards, Craig Martell in Oregon
