OUCH!
I always like it when someone points out that there are two sides to an
issue.!
Way back when she made that first offer to learn how to fire her kiln using
other
people's pots I wondered......

Hey all, due to extenuating circumstances (and it's a
bit late anyway), there won't be any firing going on
here for a little while, so I will have to put this
thing on hold for a bit. Having said that, once there
actually is a good weekend for me, I'll probably be
familiar enough with the kiln that you'll actually get
some good pieces, and I'll still honor the offer of
doing it for free. Sorry, and I apologize for not
getting back you all of you. I hope I didn't ruin any
plans. At least the propane is finally hooked up, and
to those who don't know much about firing, light your
pilot light with your burner valve turned completely
OFF, not ON. I almost had deja vu of my sophomore year
in college when I tried to light my gas fireplace
drunk, and it just didn't light with the first
match... or the second... or the third... or the
KABOOM! I had deep fried head for a few weeks.
Anyway, I feel really bad for renegging (is that
the spelling?) and think I owe some explanation, so
suffice it to say that this week I went through one of
the worst breakups in my life, with one of the worst
people I've known (aren't they all, during a
breakup?), and he's still living here until he can get
a flight back to England. Anyway, things are just
tense, and I wouldn't want to expose any of you to
this situation. Things should be fine in a week, and
those who wanted to come down next weekend should feel
free, but it's just bad timing right now. Sorry about
not informing everyone earlier, and I'm not good on
the phone right now, so anyway, sorry, and I hope to
meet some of you soon. Oh, and don't EVER think of
setting me up with anyone. It seems like a crime to be
female, single and twenty six in this state, but
please, no remedies. Jules

Isn't this private stuff you should be addressing Julie about off list?
What
the HELL does it have to do with Clay?

Six months free labour helping you get the studio up and running wasn't too
bad a deal though was it Julie? Perhaps if you had helped out a little more
the situation would be different? (I know your boyfriend from CA.)
