Deb, I have the Bailey and I like the fact that it compresses the clay on
both sides. Mine is the large, electric driven version. Size would depend on
how large a slab you want to make. I would suggest that you only get a table
as wide as you think you need.
I find that for my needs, I don't need a slab roller as big as the one I
have, and dealing with the big piece of heavy pressboard can be a bit
cumbersome if you don't need something that big.
My slab roller makes a great work table as well. In fact, I use it more as a
work table than a slab roller! LOL The other day I make some slabs for
testing a bunch of engobes and I just used my industial sized rolling pin!
