i was visiting today this website and enjoyed the
show.
we`ve got a new color printer, so i decided to print
my very favorites. i picked about a dozen and wrote
the name of the potter under each picture.
i noticed, that three of them are from logan, utah.
out of curiousity i scrolled down again to check their
addresses, found five participants from logan, utah!
wow, forgive my ignorance, what`s in logan, utah?
must be a great graduate school or a potters
community...
thanks for any information,
marta

John Neely will give a workshop "Teapots: Form and Function" at the
Arvada Center for the Arts (Arvada, Colorado) on Aug. 17 and 18.
You can get more info about this workshop and the other summer workshops
at www.arvadacenter.org. Clayarter Marie Gibbons will also be giving a
workshop there this summer.

Marta: Yep, Logan is the home of Utah State u. John Neeley the inventor of
the train is the teacher. anyone that is interested in woodfiring and
graduate school would be wise to look at Logan. A fabulous program and
probably one of the best wood coons in the country. Pack your own beer
though. Its a Mormon town with more churches than birth control pills.
John knows a boot legger though, cause i was treated like royalty.
Would you believe i went to the Mormon church every summer for almost a
decade when I worked at my uncles????? It's true, my uncle was an elder of
the church. I don't tell a soul. They'd never believe me anyway.
Cheers,
Tony
