credit card co. questioning purchases

Hi Janet,

Thought I would post this to the list so others would know. Credit card
companies will often question out of country purchases unless you notify
them
ahead of time that you will be traveling. This is their way to try and
prevent fraud by unauthorized users. The companies will be stuck for the
cost (sometimes over $50) if the customer reports theft or fraud.
Naturally,
they do everything they can to prevent this.
