test of mckenzie tenmoku

i just did a test in my last firing... i make small bows.. anyway the small
bowl has pulled it self apart..the glaze is nice looking.. i had other tests
in the kiln and this was the only self destructing one

Tenmoku:
whiting 16
custer 44
ball 10 i used Bells dark
silica 22
ash 7 i used washed ash
RIO 9

if any body has any comments ,, plese let me know

I have used Warren Mc Kenzie's Tenmoku for a while and had great results.
The recipe he published in his book was for cone 8. I modified it by
reducing the whiting and it does fine at cone 10. I use Custer spar and
Kentucky OM#4
