unbreakable ceramics (was: nose cone clay)

Sorry, I missed the original post (I am either receiving double
postings or non at all just now). But, why in the world would any
potter want to source clay which would be unbreakable once fired? It
would put everyone out of business!!

If the nose cone on the space shuttle is similar to exorcet missiles,
it would not be "unbreakable". They are turned porcelain and look like
works of art. The are also turned upside-down, so that gravity helps
to keep them perfectly formed and ultra thin.
