Just purchased the material for a 100 cubic foot Chinese design wood
fired kiln.
For those interested, I would like to open up a workshop in building
and firing this kiln. It would span a 2 week time frame in June or July.
Exact time would be determined.
I have built 10 kilns of my own including 2 walk in wood fired kilns,
updraft, downdraft, crossdraft, saltware, stoneware and raku.
I have worked under 6 Master potters and would like to share the
experience of building this kiln and firing it with others.
At present I have a private studio in the Helena valley. I am involved
with several other Clay Art facilities including the Archie Bray
Foundation.
Anyone interested in this experience lets talk.
