You could always put a cane handle on your bisque- only if you have
great
control over your firings. Won't want to burn it off.
Looking forward to warping your mind. You sound like you live an
altogether
too healthy life.
Cheers,
Tony

Tony, the packet I got from ACC suggestewd that I bring 3-4 finished
pieces with lugs. Is that too many? (I'll have them in my lap on the
plane) -- also, how big should the lugs be?
I hadn't noticed the mention of mind warping in the curriculum
description for your course. In my case it would be more of a refresher
course. As they say around here I came "the long way around the barn" to
arrive at this june-cleaver-on-granola phase of my life. My old party
buddies made all kind of predictions about where I'd be in 10 or 20
years; those who predicted I'd survive my 30s never imagined I'd choose
marriage, mortgage and kids ;0) .

And Vince: on the subject of the workshop, I have had folks ask me
whether ACC has packing/shipping materials available if we want to ship
out pots home. I dunno. What do you say?

Still thinking about driving... anybody headed from Ohioish to
Tennesseeish in mid July drop me a line, OK ?

Yours, Kelly in Ohio... planting edame soybeans, rows of basil and a few
tomatillos, then in the studio making roulettes today with some very
excited homeschooled kids... the big camper full of in-laws pulls out of
the drive tomorrow morning after an extended visit...

It is possible to arrange for the gallery to pack up things to ship for you,
but it is pricey. If you want to ship pots, it is best to send your own
packing materials down here in advance. Better yet, drive.
