G'Day All,
Having been involved in the Production Slip Casting of bottles {Many =
Thousands} and the extruding of hollow shapes on an Extruder I have =
often wondered how the "Bols Gin" manufacturers in Holland can produce =
their clay bottles.
They are definitely extruded { the marks are on the side of the bottles =
} and the neck is formed by some rotary process.
The base is folded under and pinched together.
But how is it all done ? ? ?
"Why is it so ?" as the Good Prof., used to say.
Can anyone help ?
Kind regards,
CROC.
