Dear Clay Buds;
My years of potting solo in my studio are coming to an abrupt
end this weekend, as I am giving a workshop in Baker City, OR, June 8
& 9. In addition, I'll give a slide talk Friday night @ 7pm. The

I AM sorry to be tooting my own horn here but I want the
thing to be a success for Crossroads, and there's a chance there may
be lurkers around the other half of my state or in Idaho or
E.Washington who read these posts. Anyway, if you are one of
those....at least come to the free slide talk Friday @ 7pm, and
perhaps my talk will interest you in taking the workshop.
I will be demonstrating the use of my WireTools for
soft-facetting, and the Roller Trimmer for making plates and other
flatware, along with other unusual techniques. No doubt Shinos and
the Fire will be discussed, and my Doorless fiber kiln too. On
Sunday, participants will get a hands-on chance to try the tools for
themselves on the pots I throw Saturday. And there will be a potluck
served in my pots @ 2pm Sunday so we'll all leave well-fed for home.
