Snail, I am sure Steve Mills can explain the advantages of the slot vent=20
over the round hole better than I. However, watching the flame pattern in=

my mini-kiln, I could see the flames swirling around and going back down=20
somewhat, before heat was lost from the vent. Why not take a look at the=20
