The two best places I can recommend are the Art Institute on Michigan Ave.
downtown and Lill Street Art Center, a few miles north of downtown.
http://www.lillstreet.com/

Lill Steet is a great place to get a clay fix. It's a gallery, school and
studios on three floors. Easy to get to via public transportation or car.
The web site has lots of info.

There are, course, many galleries and other museums you could visit. I'm
sure others on the list will have lots of good places to recommend.

Have fun - it's a great city.

Hello Fellow Chicago Clay Folks!

I agree with these suggestions, and would only add the Evanston Art Center.
Also, there used to be a gallery/studio that Shimpo ran, Rare Earth seems to=
=20
come to mind.
Perimiter Gallery in Chicago sometimes has ceramic work up.
