I solved a similar problem by two methods. Both require an exit hole
from the body. I used a shortened version of xmas lights which I hung
from the "ceiling". However I prefer two night-lights connected by a
needed length of electrical wire. This is fairly easy to rig and it
plugs right into a wall outlet. I did put a switch on it, but ended up
using it hardly ever, because the bulbs seem to go on for years without
burning out. In my structures the "windows" are covered with opaque
glass so the wiring does not show.
