Not really surprising IMHO. No secret why. The recipe? The BIGGEST
anyone can imagine and it has a MOVING PART... Both attributes
guaranteed to appeal to men especially. They are also inclined to be
the big spenders, so a meaty price tag is going to convince them of
their good taste. Of course they may just be looking for better
looking bread crocks... Are you sure that is not what you are actually
making?

I've been having a bit of a run on my Texas sugar bowls. I've sold 3 this
week. they are a 30 lb casserole with a 12 lb lid. This is one item that
men seem to want to buy. A man can not walk by one without at least trying
to lift the lid. there is no way in creation they will fit into an oven, if
you filled them with sugar or Texan chain gang chile you'd break your back
trying to lift them. I upped the price to $375 from $275 and it has sped up
sales. Go figure!
this is one item I will be making at the Big V's in Tennessee. I've asked
Gail at the center to have bats with pins in the wheel head. So folks start
doing your pushups. Everyone is going to leave Tennessee as a Texan.
Had time to stop for a coffee in Maydelle, Texas this morning. Didn't have
time for breakfast but the tour with coffee was great. Congrats, David.
cheers,
Tony
P.S the big roles are calling me- off to work.
