Hi Linda,
You are going to get a lot of answers on this - get ready for a pile -
frits have no LOI - they are ground up fired glass so any LOI that was in
the materials they are made of is gone.

The analysis that I have for Ferro Frit 3249 is as follows:-
CaO 3.50
MgO 12.20
Al2O3 13.30
B2O3 28.90
SiO2 42.10

100.00
There is, therefore, no LIO with this analysis

Dear David,
I think Linda was asking for the LOI not about Lithium. That is the loss
through ignition or firing. What materials burn off.
3249 is a barium substitute frit with Barium, Magnesium and Calcium
being the RO fluxes.
