Hi leland
Recently I was introduced to a commercial Raku paperclay, called Keens White Raku paperclay,
AND IT WORKS, I was thrilled as I specialize in raku work. I also often add about 1/3 paperclay to
my normal raku clay, wedge it in well and use as normal. I find this is really good as I make hand built sculptural
items. Both clays seem to have good Thermal Shock reaction, with very little or no cracking, even after being
through the Raku process a couple of times or more.
If I can be of any further help let me know.
Best wishes from Perth,
Western Australia
