Hello to Clayart:
We've been talking here at the ACC about how we need to let you know how well the "Clennell cum Hendley" workshop From Kitchen to the Living Room Workshop is going. Everyone is enjoying it very much. There are 20 of us, and David and Mark Isenberg are tolerating us very well. With only 1 man taking the workshop, naturally there is a lot of teasing going on.
Everyone is learning a lot...we've worked on mugs, casseroles, platters, and buckets. Jason has the kiln loaded and is candling it for a soda fire. We're anxiously awaiting the results (don't think it will be stone cold when we unload it ;-0 ). I believe teapots may be on tap for tomorrow. If you haven't ever taken a workshop here, we recommend it highly! The ENTIRE staff is wonderful, the accomodations and food are terrific, and most importantly, we're meeting a lot of wonderful artists---potters and otherwise.
Looking forward to signing back on Clayart when I return home Friday evening...
