Why not just use your regular throwing wheel for banding. My Pacifica
is slow and controllable enough for banding. It starts and stops on a
dime. I sometimes use my Giffin to hold a chuck to raise the pot up. I
like having both hands free.

I can't use mine because my glazing studio is 85 feet from my throwing
studio and run back and forth enough as it is but I do need the exercise!!!
