Good morning,

I have since very early this morning (Tuesday, July 23) been receiving =
many copies of an email from PRAMOD PAREKH (spelled correctly, I hope) =
with the subject line reading "catalogue of packaging products." I have =
deleted like mad.

Is there something strange like this floating around Clayart? =20

I too received about 10 copies of the same e-mail. Never even thought to
link it with Clayart. Things make you say hmmmmmmm!

I got four of them! I was wondering where in the heck they came from. Some
spammer probably just scraped the list for e-mail addresses.

i've also received these and now set my programe to block anything from =
this nuisance. Norton has allowed the emails in, so hopefully they are =
not virus ridden.

I, also, have been inundated with two different sessions of this SPAM.
Delete, delete, delete!

Pramod hit me with what must be close to 100 copies. Apparently he hasn't
worked out all the details of blind CC'ing spammy messages. I immediately
thought of Clayart because of our need for packaging. I used Eudora's
"Make Filter" function and anything from him goes directly into Trash.

I got some , perhaps 50 or more. I can watch and delete before downloading. I sent a
message to the address:
From: Ababi
To: mahapackpip@yahoo.co.in
Date: Tue, 23 Jul 2002 16:22:25 +0200
Subject: Re catalog

Will you stop sending me Hundreds of letters? do you have a ny virus?

The reply:
From: Mail Delivery Subsystem
To: ababisha@shoval.org.il
Date: Tue, 23 Jul 2002 16:25:01 +0300 (IDT)
Subject: Returned mail: delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.co.in
account (mahapackpip@yahoo.co.in) - mta102.in.mail.yahoo.com

----- The following addresses had permanent delivery errors -----

and so on

I looked for it using a search engine:
PRAMOD is a name of a minister India's government
Perakh is the way you write in English the Hebrew word for flower.
So, delete delete delete!

Charles and Penny,
I, too, received about fifteen yesterday, but I
immediately blocked the sender. Since you both
appear to have Outlook Express 5.5, when you have
another of those emails, highlight it click on
"Message" in the top menu of OE, and click on
"Block Sender."
Good luck.

I've received a lot of those too as well as several in Japanese or Chinese.
The only way I know to get rid of them is to forward them to
"abuse@(include everything after the @ in the original return address)
It seems to work at least for most of them.

Hello from Alaska,
I deleted 3 of those too!
I got my wheel and kiln on the barge and weather moved in nothing can
get in. It was good timing.
