isp suggestion for fighting junk email

This is mainly about computers , OT, but I did a little research into
my own ISP to see what they suggest.
Though this is specific to my ISP, maybe other ISPs have similar set
ups.

With my ISP there is a feature called the 'spaminator'
which will catch , filter and save spam and junk emails sent to
you,..Spaminator filters it BEFORE it gets to YOUR computer, (unlike
the filters you put on your own email system.)
Spaminator saves all the 'snagged' spam for your review, but
continually deletes it every 10 days. However, you can visit the site,
punch in a
password ,view the spam activity which HAS been filtered from your
site, prior to reaching you.,( you can do this to see if
something legit gets 'caught' by mistake.)

I activated the spaminator feature a month or so ago, when I noticed an

increase in unwanted emails solicitations. I just checked the site this

evening , and it was full of stuff... I never realized how much junk it
was snagging for me . This happens to be an earthlink feature and seems
like a good
feature to activate(no extra cost), but as I say, scheck with your own
ISP

In this case, it didn't catch Mr Pram-rod however, and in such cases,
my ISP asks
people to report the junkmail to them, by forwarding them the junk
email.
I would suggest going to tyour ISP support page to find out where to
forward the spam.

seems like this is one way to get Pram-rod onto the BIG spam filter
list in the sky
getting your ISP to filter this guy for you

(spurred into reporting this one after receiving 17 more.......)
(note : Earthlink users forward a copy of the spam to
junkmail@earthlink.net)
