There is an anagama near Astoria Oregon, (near Oregon coast), called the
'Dragon Kiln'. Somewhere I have written doen the name of the people
involved. It is a privately owned kiln as opposed to a college kiln.
Many people help with each firing. Any Oregon folks on the list who
know?
Also the University of Montana Ceramics department in Missoula Montana
has an anagama out in the forest. They usually fire once per term will
sometimes let you participate . though they may not fire during (forest)
fire season! University of Oregon in Eugene has (or use to have!) a 3
chamber nborigama. Wonderful kiln, shorter firing cycle than the larger
ones mentioned above
