I was not clear where I am talking about decoration. Sorry.
Here is what I mean
Make your pots, etc. and put slip on them as you would normally on the
outside. Bisque them.
Paint your designs with was resist.
Dip pots in clear crackle glaze.
Raku fire.
Your unglazed areas with the slip will turn black, contrasting the colored
slip and glazed areas.
