look,
use a metal rib and scrape the glaze off, gently scrape it off with it, then
use a spnoge, use an elephant ear sponge, it takes glaze residue off easier.
I learned this from Clary Illian,
I watched her do this, and I always assumed I would wax the feet of my pots,
then I tried it, it it is so nice, this is a production leach trained potter
that didn't wax the feet of her pots.
take some extra time and touch the pots, we are making a statement about
humanity, not trying to compeat with machines.
