Thank you to those of you who answered my post about my SLOW Venco. It =
was SO SLOW that I almost fell asleep waiting for it to pug any clay =
(yawn). But now, after taking some good advice (common sense really), I =
cleaned the screens and WOW what a difference! It is about 10 times =
faster, I can barely keep up with it.=20
Removing the screens was quite easy and totally effective. I found a =
little trash in there and a good sized piece of synthetic chamois (the =
big culprit) but mostly hard clay. I guestimate there was 1/3 of the =
screen area passing clay through. I think the previous owner did not =
clean the screens much or ever. I found crusty clay of colors I have =
never used. Anyway, Thanks again and I am off to keep potting.
