I am sorry to hear of your difficulties, John and trust you flower and pot
vigorously from now to pension day at the very least! As a matter of
interest, was your situation exacerbated by the introduction of GST in
Australia? Has the closure of galleries and art outlets as a result of GST
continued, or did it flatten out? I was supposed to get back to a lady who
wrote me about it, but unfortunately lost her mail. She was very
pessimistic about the effect it would have on artists and makers both short
and long-term.
