In rereading the crystal glaze string I find I need some clarification.
Is the alkalinity of the glaze necessary for crystal formation? Could =
I test that by mixing a fresh glaze with vinegar? Does Epsom salts =
affect the PH?
If a frit is washed, how do you know the composition hasn't changed ? =
Do you just test and adjust ?
The water that rises to the top of the bucket is the color of strong =
coffee so it definitely has something dissolved in it. Would it be =
informative if I had the liquid tested to see what it is?
