I just purchased what I think is the perfect extruder table for use with pugmill extrusions. It's a hydraulic table cart from Harbor Freight. Now instead of shimming up a board to raise to the proper extruding height I just use a lever to raise or lower to the proper height. I clamped a 1 x 4' board on to it to extend the length of my extrusions.
Similar tables are available from W.W. Grainger but they cost well over $350 rather than the $139 I paid from Harbor Freight.
