"You could purchase Sheila Clennell's wonderful video tape on making =
your
own handles. Very professionally produced tape. Everything you need to
know to turn out your own cane handles. The only problem is that when
watching a master you think it's going to be easy ."

I agree with all of the above, but have found
that after making dozens of bits&pieces of
small cane decorative items, I'm now able to manipulate the handles =
also. It's not the fault of the tape that I'm so slow.... being neither =
particularly artistic nor great at manipulating crafty items, it
takes me awhile. But Sheila's directions are
so clear that I'm able to break the whole thing
into parts and deal with just the one segment=20
until my hands begin to connect with my brain.

possible!)"

If you found Clennell's website, their e-mail
address is likely there somewhere ... e-mail
them and ask where to find info about the video.

I did find her website and it had a couple ways to get email to her. But
so far I'm not having any luck. The form on the webpage gave me a failed
message when I submitted it and when I tried emailing her direct, it
bounced. So I'm stumped. =(

through. I have a tape on the way. I'm very much looking forward to
seeing it. Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the Potter's Shop bookstore carries it. I don't have their
phone number on me, and they don't have a website, but they are in Needham,
MA and you could get it from directory info.
